IOWA
Very rarely, I will try my hand at a bit more detail and realism. And paint on canvas. This is a painting of my grandfather Roger and my great grandmother on their Iowa farm back in the Depression. I love vintage anything and since these were my relatives, it had to be painted. The photo I had to reference was only 3 x3" and black and white so I really had to focus to get those details. I thought my brain would explode after I finished this piece. |
